Celluloid photo button badge of Emmeline Pankhurst. Badges bearing portraits of Emmeline and Christabel Pankhurst and Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence were mass produced by the Women's Social and Political Union. Sold to supporters for one penny, they raised funds for the campaign 'war chest' and enhanced the public profile of the suffragette leaders.
