Turnbull from Ruth Farrer, 1953 Subject The topic of the resource Religion Rosicrucians Description An account of the resource Letter from Secretary to the Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order, Ruth Farrer, to Mr Turnbull, Master of the Francis Bacon Chapter (Surrey) to which Jessie Kenney (1887-1985) belonged in response to his writing to inform the Order of Annie Kenney’s (1879-1953) passing, written on 5 August 1953. Annie’s funeral was conducted following Rosicrucian ceremony and her ashes were scattered across the Yorkshire moors, which she loved as a child. In this letter, the Order extends its ‘heartfelt sympathy’ to the family of this ‘remarkable woman’, who was a member of the ‘Imperator’s personal class’.
